Our Island Our Voices is the campaign for a fairer Tasmania.

This 100% independent, non-party politicial community campaign is designed to raise awareness of important issues for Tasmanians in the March 20 State Election.

The campaign is designed to give Tasmanians the chance to have their say in the election and ensure the issues that impact on all Tasmanians around health, education, community services, taxes and the economy are at the centre of the election campaign.

Independent polling by EMRS reveals that 9 out of 10 Tasmanians want tighter regulation of gaming machines in the community.

Our Island Our Voices is calling on Tasmania's political parties to commit to addressing the scourge of problem gambling in the community by reducing the betting limit on pokie machines from $5 to $1, reduced venue opening hours and less advertising of gaming in the community.
